I finally found just the BG vid of my favorite BMS. The song uses a few sounds from Yume Nikki. The awesome get-your-self-lost-in-your-own-mind game.

  • As much as I would enjoy seeing this game be made into a Movie or Television Series, the game is much too heavily based on Theories and Individualized Symbolism to be created to suit all the consumers which it wished to sell too. If it did ever make it into production, it would probably say the players of the game from their own thesis on what each thing means and would probably make people think there is an single meaning to each thing. That personally would just piss me off.

    I wonder. A silent movie inspired by Yume Nikki. Some thing that follows what you describe, but doesn't relate directly to Yume Nikki. I actually want to try something like that. Not sure how to go about it, but I think it would work. Not a show based on Yume Nikki, but inspired by it.

  • @mhdarkage I'd think it would be cool just seeing a whole silent-type movie the way the game was exactly played out instead of actually giving a story... because yeah, that would piss me off too....

  • That was fantastic! Can definitely see this as the ending/credits sequence if it was a series.

  • @SailorUnicornMoon

    That makes sense.

  • @Iemanonymous1

    That's exactly what I want, too. And it should have no dialogue.

  • @MyuNekoi maybe someone clicked it accidently? that has happened to me sometimes ;_;

  • Powerful synthesis...

  • @mhdarkage If they handled it like the game did, just showing us the places, then ending it, it could very well work. That I would love.
