A female BP agent threatens to shoot a guy on crutches with a "pepper ball" gun if he makes a break for it. Besides the fact that he's on crutches and cant exactly move quickly, he's a US citizen, on state park land. Whatever happened to serve and protect

  • why is the retard on crutches standing in the water?

  • Looks to me like she's doing her job. And did it well, apparently; the guy on crutches tested her limits, and was disappointed with the results. He left the area without incident.

In truth, she would not have shot him unless he became assaultive. There was another agent there with his hands free.

But the pepperball launcher sure did scare him away, didn't it? Deterrance is the best strategy.

  • legal resident of the u.s and have this turn in to a real case they didn't think about it twice to run his name up!

  • a little league baseball game a few hrs before and still had the uniform from the game they just said they cant take any chances we never thought that would happen so we never carried any document or id to the beach we asked them to run his name up they responded we cant he could be giving out another persons info but when i told them look you could run his name up and get it over with or you could take him and i could call my lawyer and let him know you took my 12 yrs old brother in who is a

  • way before the border beach park was restricted me and the family used to make little get together and we constantly got harassed or checked upon due to the fact that we are Hispanic.

at first i didn't mind it, i thought it was a routine check up but when i realized that they never said jack to the white people that used to go rent horses or have picnics that's when it got to me.

At one point they even try to take my little brother because they said he looked too dirty when he had

  • I see dumb people...everywhere. Sometimes they stand in the water on crutches and argue with law enforcement officers who simply tell them to leave a restricted area...

  • I dont get it americans complain when mexicans cross the border, but are they trying to do the same here?

  • @jschob I know what you ment, these guys are not "guards"

  • @somement

It was about 20 miles outside El Paso, where the 10 runs against the border for about 30-40 miles or so. More rural area, but yeah there were guards there due to the violence spike in Juarez.

  • @jschob There were security guards at the border is El Paso?

  • I didn't see any threat to the guy in crutches, but that's irrelevant.

It's interesting that BP wouldn't let Americans close to the border. I've been to a BP crossing outside of El Paso, and the guards there were pretty chill, they said we were welcome to step across to Mexico, but would have to go through screening process just to step back (even as little as a few feet!). Needless to say, we didn't :)
