Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on Dell XPS M1330 8400m GS 128MB

M1330 Specs:
Intel Core2Duo T8300 2.4GHz 2GB
NVidia 8400m GS 128MB driver 158.36
Microsoft Windows7 Ultimate 64bit 7600

This gameplay is 1280x800 all settings lowest but still it looks pretty good - my GPU overlocked.

For overclocking i built cooling pad otherwise gpu gets to ~110c, to enable overclocking install driver 158.36 from laptopvideo2go then rivatuner from guru3d and set core clock from 400MHz to 600MHz and memory clock from 600MHz to 900MHz.

Overclocking is dangerous it might burn your gpu so make sure you know what youre doing before doing it.
Mine works well so far with setting i wrote.

Change the Aero Style in Windows 7 to the old Windows Style , boosted my FPS up to minimum 5 - max 10 FPS. ^^ Good Luck

@hjjfffaa i used to use cooling pad but now i only remove the bottomn part so its open and it goes to about 90c-100c its high but im ok with it... the fan noise very annoing

also, try playing the game again, but when you do, alt tab out, bring up task manager and set call of duty to high priority and explorer.exe to below normal

@oleg7g 100c is WAY too hot for a laptop. That's double the temp it's supposed to be at max. Your going to fry your GPU.

oh and your games might run faster if you switch to windows 7 32bit cause you dont need 64bit unless you have more than 2gb of ram
