Real-Time RayTracing:

The Ray-tracer kernel was implemented in OpenCL. The Display Module was done in OpenGL. Camera Movement computation was performed on CPU, but the entire ray-tracing computation was performed on the GPU.

Hardware Used:
Intel I7 - 975 (Extreme), 6GB RAM, Nvidia 480 GTX (with 1.5 GB VRAM) :).

  • How many FPS do you have, if you render a scene with more than 20000 triangles?

    Can you use the ART Engine for gamedevelopment?
