My 1986 Ford Aerostar with full digital gauges. Just showing some of the features it has. Don't see many of these anymore.

(Excuse the video quality, my camera isn't the best by far)

  • Did it really come stock with a digital gauge cluster?

  • @69in89 Sure did, rolled out of the factory with it.

  • I have a 1989 Eddie Bauer Edition Ford Aerostar, and when it starts it usually says 188mph.

  • @ronniegranillo At least the dash is optimistic.

  • @SenIor98x Indeed it's extremely optimistic. Grandparents had a 1990 Aerostar XLT with the digital dash. Speedometer would stop at 85mph / 137kph even though it could go faster.

  • @geforcefly1982 Mine did the same thing. I thought they actually were limited to 85mph but found out the hard way that it wasn't, live and learn.

  • dude so cool our 1st van was a 1986 XLT aerostar brown w/gold stripe at the bottom swb. with the digital cluster and overhead stuff. 2nd van 1990 Aerostar XLT eddie bower awd with the digital cluster and over head. the only difference that i remember between the 86+90 is the rps the 90 had more bars. then came the 2000 windstar with the digital gauge cluster so awesome. how cool they are and still will be.

  • oMg i thought that my 95 aerostar was limited to like 95 or so but i learned the hard way that it wasn't i got caught at 110 on the freeway i was like Damn!!!

  • This was my favorite of the Aerostar, the electronic instrument panel! So space age and futuristic. I owned a 1988 Ford Aerostar and I loved it! But sadly, the quality was poor on Ford motor company.

  • @will1977a This one was the base model as well, I swapped the shitty vinyl seats though.
