@tonyisevil1 You are wrong Tony..65Seasons is right. Juan Gabriel wrote the song for Rocio in homage to Rocio Durcal son drowning in the Acapulco. You are the one who needs to get your fact straight.

I dedicate this song to my grandpa who died the year i was born in 2000 and i never got to meet him.this song makes me cry.some times i talk to him but he dosent repond. some people think im crazy but im doing the right thing.he died of cancer. thumbs up this if you are against cancer.

This is not a romantic song. This is the story of the tragic death of her little son, drowned in Acapulco, a song written by Juan Gabriel in homage to that sad event.

@aubyn4 - without knowing the original reason this song was written, this is still very much a romantic song from the perspective of one, who has lost a loved one --- perhaps a lover. I have watched a video clip where Rocio was singing this song while her family was watching. I could very much feel the anguish in her husband (Junior) who could not stop the overflowing tears from his eyes. Nevertheless, thanks for the info as to the origin of this song.
