  • This is called Power!

  • @trommelbiel Thanks for watching trommelbiel I appreciate it.

  • Great footage David as everyone else has commented would have been better in daylight.

  • @irishrover63 Thanks for your comment about my #obamavisit video. Definitely a shame it was at night, but I'm pleased I was able to get there to capture this, I think it caught many people off guard unfortunately so at least one of us Stansted regulars was able to get it. Thank you for watching.

  • @alrightmyson1983 Thanks a lot alrightmyson1983, I had heard that STN was the preferred choice especially after the successul visit a few years ago. From a logistical point of view STN is probably much easier than LHR for the number of aircraft and helicopters they had over.

  • @HeathrowSpottingHD

Not exactly true, BO and USSS selected STN for the security arrangement and access points to London, Plus its a lot easier to getin and out.

He was Never landing at LHR

  • Ahh Stansted got it! Was bound for LHR but due to him wanting to come early due to ash and the Royal Suite at LHR was not ready for him! Lucky guys! Awesome capture.

  • I was there =P

  • @bananamanuk Ya hopefully but a couple of hours is a bit dissapointing after all the hype about it

  • @Aviationnation10 To be fair I don't think he's been to the UK many times. He was here for the G20. It's a shame he didn't stay in Ireland but I doubt this would be his last visit even if he's not in power as a statesman I'm sure he'll be back to Ireland, if nothing else but to finish the pint of Guinness he started.
