Interview with the famous British-American human rights lawyers who has been defending about 40 Guantanamo detainees. His client Sami al-Haj, cameraman with Al Jazeera, was released in May 2008 after six years of detention. Reporters Without Borders had been campaigning for his release. I am glad Al Jazeera was released but to have suffered for 6 years of detention is not right especially when they had no charges against him. Without sufficient evidence he should not have been banned from being a Journlist. They definitely should close the Guantanamo Bay!!!!

America is no longer the America that our fathers and Grandfathers knew. It has been changed by Bush and his henchmen with their attack on America on 9/11. We are now moving rapidly into a psuedo Nazi Germany state. Concentration camps are being built, Storm trooper companies like Blackwater are being hired, The media is being censored or controlled. I could go on and on. America needs to wake up and prepare themsevles for knocks on doors in the middle of the night.

They terrorize the media personalities to discourage them ffrom investigating certain subject and prevent the truth reaching the masses.
Britney Spears is State approved content and the murder on the street corner that frightens people into staying glued to the TV is also state approved content.
The truth will not be broadcast.

Thank you for this post. It is a really sad that the US has fallen so far from its ideal of freedom, hope and justice for all. I cannot imagine what these men and boys have endured. These are wounds which will never completely heal. May all of those who are fighting relentlessly for truth and justice be filled with the courage that is needed to prevail.
