what a ugly videogame, crysis 2 is 200 time better than this rubbish

@yourtwistedable yeah but then i would also have to buy ddr3 memory, which is also very expensive
so this is not an option

@xxBroetchenhechtxx you should get a ddr3 motherboard, use your same cpu till you have the money to upgrade to a i7 980

i have a question, at the moment i have a very old Intel Core 2 Duo but i now want a better one would it be worth buying a AMD mainboard and one of the x4 CPU's or should i buy a (actually quite expenisve) Intel Quad and use it with my momentary mainboard?

good stuff, i got ascrock x58 deluxe i7920 2.67 oc'ed to 3.7 6gig corsiar 1333, xfire 490-4870, fraps shows mid 200fps, (backed in to crowded part of level waited for hord ect to show droped to lowest was 90 on a touch of color series 6 sammy 47inch 1920x1080 120hz

No this cpu did it on air then I bought a watercooling setup and got it up to 4.2ghz game stable........highest Ive gone is 4.44ghz at 1.6v

for the price it does a hell of a job.......I mean cmon on average I would say by looking at the video I got about 160fps as average.......with lower end in the 90's higher end sitting in the mid 200's. With vsync enabled its a steady 60fps all through the game without a hitch.
Im going to do another vid of the processor at stock to see if theres a difference in frames, or if this performance is all from the 4850x2 single card I got.
