FAMILY UNDERGROUND (DENMARK)

Family Underground is the duo of Nicolas Kauffmann and Sara Czerny living in Copenhagen- Denmark.
Aquiring the name in 2003 after a couple of years as the trio F.L.O.W.E.R, in recognition of the need to express a new way to bend and mend the traditions of psychic sound wich has been the creative core in the band.
Weaving intricate layers of electric storms with guitars, synth, vocal and efxWith inspirations from early experimental art and music the Family Underground is trying to ask some of the same questions through electric meditations. A slew of releases on the FU's own label Into the Lunar Night with later CD and LP releases on a wide variety of labels such as their own label Into the Lunar Night as well as Weird Forest, Heavy Tapes, Sound@One, Qbico(R.I.P), Woodsist, Not Not Fun and so forth.
New LP from DNT 'Demon Parade' is at hot on the heels and coming soon.
