It may be a little early, but the Bald Eagles are starting to have their so-called Spring-time activity in winter months, so their chicks are usually hatched in very early spring. Great capture of Bald Eagles!

@NicKtheGreeK1100 Surprisingly, this represents the very beginning of a new nest! Bald Eagle nests are notoriously large structures, so I reckon that if these two birds take this effort seriously they'll have to add another three hundred pounds (or more) of dead branches/sticks to this structure before it's of suitable size. What is especially surprising to me is that I've always associated nest-building behavior as a Spring-time activity rather than a Fall-time activity in this species. ;-)
