no no. he spends like 84 days or sumthing. and the climax of the book is probably when his hand cramps. the book sucks, we had to read it in language arts. i didnt read it though..and i still passed the test on it. i dont get what is so good about it.

So basically this book is about an old man who struggles 3 days to catch a huge marlin and when he does sharks eat it? I don't get how this is a good read. But lot's of people seem to like it.

It took the animator more than two years to finish the short film. Alexsandr Petrov painted with his fingers, and have to photograph the image about 29000 times! Seriously amazing.
