Festival Flor y Canto was the first national Chicano literary festival in California, held at the University of Southern California (1973). This was also my first solo recital of original Chicano poetry and music. Selections were 1) Sigue Raza, Sigue (poem set to music background); 2) Canto Juveníl (Song of Youth).
