I was given this f100 by a very good friend . After rebuilding the carb and clearing years of CAL sand away. This little six still runs! I was suprised. Now what to do, leave it in or swap 89 5.0 that is in the back bed. Not sure.? The big question is where will this lead to. Driver , ratrod or just money pit??

  • if its all numbers matching i'd resto it, if its anything like my 56 f100 which is parts from a few different trucks and no drive train rod it out :D either way they look awesome!

  • KEEP IT AND FIX IT

  • leave it the 6 then if or when it blows put the 5.0 in it... i say ceep it a rat rod and just make it stock over time

  • Yankit! Subframe it! 5.0 it! Enjoy it! You live once. Sell 6 to someone who wants it for their old farm tractor. LOL you will love it. I went through the same mental battle.

  • keep it original resto it would be K.A.

  • i had one of these, and i stripped the 6 out to modify it thinking it was cool at the time. now i wish i had kept it stock and hung onto it.

  • I truly believe you should leave it original and restore it back to the way it was when it rolled out of the assembly line, that would be the best, and it would be worth more in the long run
