10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

A response to AngryAussie's video.

Adapted from an email/picture I received or a blog I once read, I can't remember which.

For those out there that it is not completely obvious to, this is a satire, I am NOT against gay marriage.

To put this video in simple terms, the "Dickhead" character is the bigoted anti-gay person, spouting the ignorant bullshit that they see as reasons against Gay Marriage. My masked "PRO-gay marriage" character then answers the "Dickhead" bigot with a sarcastic remark designed to show just how stupid their arguments really are.

Is all this about taxes?? That's what civil unions are for.

Is it about acceptance and respect?? Legislation won't grant you that.

Is it about wanting to create children?? Legislation definitely won't grant you that.

OR is it about shifting the focus of marriage away from procreation and towards the idea of telling somebody that they are really really special?? Get Halmark.

@camba063 P.S. Marriage is stil valid for the infertile because it lays the groundwork for a potential family (even if one of the partners is discovered to be infertile). And again IF you believe as I do that you will one day live again raised in the resurection to a perfeted, healthy immortal body then you will see that this union in life laid the groundwork for the family that is to come in the next life.

IF you don't believe why do you care? A hundred years from now you won't exist anyway!!!!

@camba063 Furthermore if you believe in the immortallity of the soul and that a couple married by the Creator will remain together eternaly as I do, consider the lonely state of two individuals throughout all eternity as compared to a couple enjoying the love and companionship of what will eventually grow to be an unimaginably large family. If you do not beleive you will live on after you die then what does it matter one way or the other? A hundred years from now you won't exist anymore.

1. the argument about homosexuality not being natural is such a dumb argument, if homosexuality wasn't natural, it wouldn't exist, homosexuals are contingent on the same natural laws of the universe that heterosexuals are.
