@111pattycakes You don't really know that she wasn't a supportive friend during that time. For all we know she called him every night from wherever she was (believe it or not, even 'has been' celebrities like Brook Shields are still very busy). You can't make judgments about people based on what you see in the media. Just because she was not sitting in a courtroom at his side doesn't mean she dropped him as a friend.

Yes! ...I agree with you! ...and I remember SHARPTON I think calling it like it was... Around for the CELEBRITY....but now really there for Michael during the trial. When the chips are down.... You really find out who your true friends are! THE UP SIDE OF BEING DOWN.

@111pattycakes Yes, I know what you mean. It is well written tearful script. But there were things that she said I didn't find it sincere, sorry. But a lot of celebrities who spoke at the memo. didn't see MJJ for long time. And some didn't even met him :/

You would think that by the way she is speaking...... I think she could have supported him more when the chips were down.....during the extortion trial.... standing by his side~ but she was nowhere to be found. Apparently celebrities went into HIDING to preserve their own "CELEBRITY" status.

@111pattycakes Well she said her self that the last time she saw was in early '90's. Brook didn't support when first allegation started, let alone for second. She just did her part, thats all. But Brook is not complete sincere here, she left out that she was the 1 who called him a lot during recording of dangerous area, and he gave her moral support whilst she was nowhere in movie industry in late 80's and '90s. I think she misled MJJ a lot, as friend she shouldn't. Support is just a word...

Does anyone know if BROOKE SHIEDS..... appeared at the Court House for at least "ONE DAY" to support Michael Jackson when he was the target for CELEBRITY EXTORTION? .....not once ....but twice? (She said that he could "count on her"... to support him in this speech)
