This was wonderful! I've never seen yarn held quite like this. I wish I could have seen how the yarn was held in the first version here, though. I can't see the yarn at all. I, too, am not around many continental knitters. I changed to this way when I was in school and was taught how to do it by a lady from Germany. Thanks for your vid...very useful!

You knit in an interestingly different version of continental style than I! I am around very few continental knitters, so this was cool to see! I move / use my working needle more than you and basically just use the yarn holding hand to keep tension correct and move less, only just enough to allow the working needle to grab the yarn more readily.I have added your videos in my youtube group(fiber)and read all your *stuff* in spindlers,fiber femms and your online wordpress spot.
