PSPscene - Beowulf - Sony PSP

This video shows a PSP2000 running "Beowulf" video output is via a flatsceen Monitor.

As a child I was made to read the book
"Beowulf" and was hooked until finished it! Is the psp game any good?

Beowulf is generally a hack and slash affair, with variations for intervention.
Graphically, the game has good moments and bad moments.
The cutscenes are pretty good but the gameplay sections are fairly mediocre.

The gaming press really slated the game, with scores of around 3.5/10.
This seems a little strong, the game isn't quite as bad as the score indicates.

The gameplay is a bit boring, hacking and slashing can become tedious without to much reward, I have seen much worse PSP titles though.

Movie lovers will probably get some satisfaction from the game, other than that it holds nothing new for the hack n slash brigade.

It's difficult to recommend the game but it's not as awful as some would make you believe.

4.8\10 Rated.
