The Voice of Truth; Pilot (part two)

"Well his idea of a date was going to a party...There was a lot of drugs, alcohol and people were making out and having sex and I swore I wasn't going to engage in any of it. But next thing I knew he was handing me a drink and...and I gave in." Demi said a few tears beginning to fill her deep brown eyes. "I got kind of drunk...I feel so ashamed. I always promised myself that I wouldn't drink or do anything of that sort and because one stupid guy asked me I said yes!"
"Demi, you made a mistake. Our God is a God of forgiveness." Miley said as she held Demi's hand from across the table, "Just because you stumbled a little doesn't mean that you won't be able to get back up. This one mistake doesn't have to define your life." Miley paused as she reached into her backpack pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled something down, "Here. Next time you find yourself in a situation where you are fearful whether or not you will be able to be strong. Give me a call. Anytime. I will answer." Miley said with a smile.
"Thank you, Miley. I tried talking to my friends about it but they all just laughed and congratulated me on finally getting drunk. If I told my parents they would have freaked out on me. I had no one else to turn to."
"I'm always here, Demi. Anytime." She said with a smile.
