Something different! I like Scott Rockenfield drumming; not the most technical maybe but well thought and you can tell that the guy LOVES to play the drums. For me, this is more important than to play the fastest paradiddle on earth so here's my little tribute to Scott! For the record, I replaced my 20" Paragon crash on the left by my faithful Paiste 2002 18" chinese cymbal so I can hit those accents in the chorus. Enjoy!

great cover, but the short fill at 1:15 and 2:13 are clearly heard, but you only play it at the 1:15 mark. maybe you did two takes on this and edited them together?

@DrumsByAdisa No, I just forgot to play that doted note. What you hear is the original track from the CD.

@1000ian1000 I own two of those and like them quite a bit. I have not used them in years, since I got the Paragons set in fact. Good cymbals!

that was mind blowing, but i want to know if that was your actual drums audio, or if you just played the song over the video. if its real, what cymbals do you use, especial the chinas?

The song is overdubbed over the drumming video but the drums you hear are mine because they are mixed louder than the original track, and I try to play the track as accurately as possible. The cymbals on the left was the Paragon 19". The one on the right, not normally used in my setup, was my old Paiste 2002 18" chinese cymbal. All others are Sabian Paragons.
