This tune is a very simple arrangement in open D tuning ( DADF#AD ) by Stefan Grossman ,, taken from his book , " Book of Guitar Tunings ". Its one that i learned to play way back in November 1971 !! At the end of this video is a copy of the tab sheet from the book. Stefan Grossman also does a very in depth instructional video , Just search the title on You Tube.

  • I learnt this about that many years ago and strangely enough came to it again recently- lovely performance by the way!

Good old Stefan, I've learnt a lot from him. Those shots of the pages bring it all back- I still have that book.

  • Great version Dave! Really love it!! When I started playing acoustic I took some time to decide wich way I would choose, so I recorded some fingerpicking music before I went into a diferent direction, that's why you found a Vestapol version in my channel. Best regards, you did a great job!
