My channel on you tube : http://www.youtube.com/alanheath is one of the most prolific from Poland. I have produced around 1,900 original films.

My big interest in life is travel and history but I have also placed films on other subjects

Please feel free to ask questions in the public area or to comment on things you disagree with. Sometimes there are mistakes because I speak without preparation. If I see the mistakes myself, I make this clear in the text. Please also leave a star rating!

There are a number of films here on the packaging industry. This is because I am the publisher of Central and Eastern European Packaging -- http://www.ceepackaging.com - the international platform for the packaging industry in this region focusing on the latest innovations, trends, design, branding, legislation and environmental issues with in-depth profiles of major industry achievers.

Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!

Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

  • Pozdrawiam

  • @tadek195409 Rownież pozdrawiam!

  • When are they gonna start making tombs of the unkown collateral damage victim? There seem to be more of the war dead in that category than amongst the soldiers these days, especially when the Americans get involved.

  • @usenetposts I think the Americans should switch sides in Afghanistan. With their friendly fire accidents they would put down the insurgency in no time!

  • @alanheath Well, hopefully these German historians have a better grasp on history than the rest of Deutschland. The historical education of the post-cold war generation of Germans is beyond belief.

  • @rampking1 I think the Wehrmacht started off in the way it carried on. From day one in this area of the front 4 Panzer was committing atrocities - including in the military occupation of towns like this - Radomsko. Fortunately largely due to the work of German historians more is coming to light about the crimes of the Wehrmacht - which also happened in WW1 only then there was a serious effort made to put a stop to it. In October 1939 there was an amnesty for German crimes.

  • @alanheath Not justifying or denying as I said. The whole war was about a month long and the Wehrmacht only took half the country so I don't know why the very beginning is significant. Though it does help put the Wehrmacht in the attrocity spotlight before the WaffenSS really got involved.

  • @rampking1 But this does not justify the atrocities committed by 4 Panzer from the very beginning of the conflict

  • @GSHelga In den meisten Städten finden Sie solche Denkmäler im Zentrum. Zum Beispiel in London ist das Grab in Westminster Abbey, in Warschau in plac Pilsudskiego etc.. Das gleiche gilt in Radomsko!

  • I'd like to read the German perspective to all of this. It is not to deny the atrocities but to acknowledge the complete scenario of the situation. Poland was not a walk-thru for the Germans, it was a brutal battle from BOTH sides, witness the fact that nearly 75 of the total Wehrmacht was devoted to it. Finishing this war quickly was important as well as nobody knew for sure what the French and British would do, the west wall being wide open to attack.
