What a beautiful trot! Do you have papers on him? If you do what is his sire/dam? I have an 18yr old Walker who looks just like him except for a small white spot on each side of his neck (about the size of a hand).

Haha, I just switched to Dressage and I just started teaching my Tennessee Walking Horse to trot!! :) Your horse looks great! That trot might be beautiful to look at, but it's another story to ride!! Especially sitting. Great job :)

Wow, he looks like he was born to trot. Absolutely beautiful, I must admit. But let's be honest, he's gorgeous no matter what he's doing.

It needs much refinement to be able to sit to it, I agree! After one year of work, trot has done so much to correct his flatwalk and running walk, not to mention how much rounder and softer canter is getting. Nothing but good things to report here from teaching trot to an older gaited horse!
