@theroundup suggested I make a video to capture the screaming kids, but miraculously by the time I had restarted my mac they had calmed down. Great success for everyone! My iMovie skipped a bit in places while I was recording this - I edited out most of the weird bits and tried to sync the sound back up but meh, no refunds.

The rest of the video is about things that have helped me throughout cold and flu ordeal. I'm a huge drama queen when I get sick, obviously.

When I was a kid, I loved organizing games in the yard. I remember being yelled at for being too noisy, when we were very quiet. Although I can see why children can be annoying, consider their shouts as expressions of pure joy. One is only a child once, and it is the time in their life when they should be permitted to be rowdy. They have their whole life and cubicles and offices and theatres and people's house to be quiet. Oh I would never actually say anything to them unless it was dangerous play! My fuse is short today because I'm sick. I remember how oppressive it was growing up in a household where we had to play quietly and politely!
