Using the actuator armature and spindle / platter assembly of an old hard drive, connect by a connecting rod, powered by 5 w left speaker. I pumped a sweep from 5 to 30 Hz to the hard drive armature, through the left channel of a 5 w computer speaker, using a tone generator, for a total of 1800 RPM in 60 sec. The actuator of the hard drive is very efficient because it uses rare earth magnets and this can be built in one day. This motor is powered by sound!

  • lol try 2hz and see if it spins >:)

  • The spinning, and arm, are traveling faster than the framerate of your camera, so at least 29.97 times per second (if you had shot in HD it would be 60 times per seccond before the effect happened, but your eyes would notice it before the camera)

  • @RoboTekno HAHAHA... damn... your computer would be louder than your car XD

EVERYONE would have to wear headphones XD

  • boah ey, wahnsinn. will auch son ding haben. thats cool!!!

  • Wow. It's going so fast that the camera is actually seeing the spinning as "lag". That's awesome.
