My new PRS. It plays like a dream. Honestly plays better than any modern production gibson out there and is only a fraction of the cost. Heres a demo of some of the tones you can get out of it. Sorry about the not perfect playing !

  • I would put that water bottle n the floor duder, better safe ya' know...a little condensation could ruin your day...those are the quiltiest veneers ever !!! is it me or do the PRS's with veneers sound muddy ? nice playing...

  • @mineheadX1 Veneers are basically microscopic in the wood working realm. Especially guitars. They have no effect on tone, what so ever.

  • Hey man, i just go a PRS SE Custom 24 and i love it! Only problem is that im having problems keeping it in tune when i use the tremolo. When i tune it up to pitch, It goes sharp and when i tune down to pitch, it stays in tune when i use the tremolo but goes out of tune when bending strings?

  • @SuperGuitarMark Tune the strings in a different order. Like this. Tune the low E, then the G. Then tune the A an B. then the D and high E. That is a even way of tuning. Once the strings are stretched, you should be able to tune them however. Floating, non locking trems like that will always have that issue, but it is easy to fine tune it. Also, make sure you lube the nut slots and saddles. I'm going to send you a video about how I set up my trems.

  • Did you keep the stock pickups? I was thinking of replacing the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB......not sure if it would sound better than the stock pickup. What's your opinion?

  • @magicalalan1 Yes, I kept the stock pickups. I'm sure it'll be an improvement overall, but I love the tone of the stock pickups.

  • @Smit2k11 what kind of metal? I've got the same guitar in blue, it plays neoclassical stuff pretty decently. also, the amp you've got will have a big impact on your sound.

  • any good for metal? I'm a little worried about the pickups and the action of the guitar :/

  • OK...thanks. I'll keep the stock for now. Love this guitar!!

  • Just bought one myself. I got the orange one. PRS. Great guitars hands down.
