I returned to Glen Pean on the weekend and, with much higher water levels, scooted down the river for a couple of miles into Loch Arkaig. The way it was running that day, it's all navigable by canoe the 10kms from the source lochan (the last frames of the previous vid) to Loch Arkaig.
I have to say the packraft would benefit from thigh straps running anything much harder. Too often it feels like your bouncing down on an inner tube and paddling hopefully rather than decisively.
Have a look at my new packboat blog: http://apaddleinmypack.wordpress.com
Hi TY,
It all cost me a grand fifty in dollars last January - whatever that is now.
I waited 3 months for someone to bring it back for me.
I can't see them ever being imported in the UK as they seem to be hand made, almost to order.
I go into the cost details on my "apaddleinmypack" blog (google it - youtube disables urls here AFAICT).

Great vid, Great Raft :D
Can you tell me how much in total everything cost you with the dreaded UK import tax etc for the Denali Llama ? It's really expensive just for the Llama let alone and likely an extra £150 on top of the £500 for the Llama from Alpacka
Been looking to get one for a long time but very expensive especially with all the additional gear they sell thats really kind of needed with a raft like this - spraydeck, lightweight oar (for backpacking) addtional attachments etc
