NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer will provide a map to the universe's hidden treasures. The infrared telescope will uncover hidden cosmic creatures, including the coolest stars, dark asteroids and the most luminous galaxies.

  • WISE is scheduled to launch no earlier than 6:09 a.m. PST (9:09 a.m. EST) on Dec. 9 from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

  • Maybe it will find NEMESIS! That brown dwarf speculated to be beyond the Oort Cloud? That would truelly be amazing to have another star that relatively close...

  • do you really think if they find anything that it will be made public? As usual NASA and the gov controlled media will beat around the bush and keep that carrot dangling.
