I met Wilby right after he finished high school at Berklee. He played like a older pro even then. He was a great person. R.I.P. Wilby.

Wilby was a great drummer who replaced me on drums when I left McCoy Tyner to join Larry Coryell's Eleventh House. We spoked via email several months before he passed. what a great loss. R.I.P. Wllby Fletcher.
