I guess they changed the engine cover alot from 79 to 87 when I change the sparkplugs in my 79 I dont have to take out the cd player you just run the wires up and around and zip tie them out of the way of the cover. How does the cover come off on this one ?

Cake. just a couple screws and the dash around it comes out. Cut a hole and slide it right in. as long as the speaker wires are there its no problem.

oh boy I bet that thing gets like 10 gallons to the mile for something to be from the 1980s

Close, it gets about 9mpg in town and 13 on the hwy. She's a beast!
