Came across this Barred Owl one lovely Saturday morning. He did not seem the least concerned by human observers. He was much more intent on his breakfast. In this video you can see hijm spot, catch and eat a crawfish (gulp!)

  • He or she is a pretty bird for sure. He's a smart bird too. he'll get close but once he notices you, he keeps a sharp eye on you

  • I live in NE Ohio & I always hear these owls hooting. I was finally able to see one this morning (4:00 am) in my yard. He was beautiful!
