Official UK PlayStation Magazine - Crash Bandicoot 2

Official UK PlayStation Magazine's demo disc 10 volume 2 featured a playable demo for the game Crash Bandicoot 2.

In the video I complete the demo, which is one of the levels taken from the full game.

Agreed. Why does every franchise end up being ruined?

@Retro No franchise ends up being "ruined." The franchises change over time. Why? Because technology and times change and the franchises add new things as technology allows it. That doesn't make any of the newer franchises bad, just different. And a fresh mind not brainwashed by their childhood memories of the games they played as kids know that the new games aren't bad, I played the old games and liked them, and still do. But that in no way means that is what Crash Bandicoot should be forever.

I agree with your last point, it shouldn't be forever. The formula for the first 3 Crash games was great, but they can't keep churning out the same game.

While I take your point about franchises evolving (I should've made it clearer that I was expressing a personal opinion rather than stating fact), there's sometimes a case for quitting while you're ahead. In my view, Crash games since the first 3 just haven't met the prior standards and this taints the franchise a little.

god i remember when i played this now its 360 and the crash is just horrible nothing like the old Crash

@vgman94 But they don't need to change Crash's appearance because that's what made him what he is today. A video game icon. His Naughty Dog/Traveller's Tales look is more recognizable than the Radical Entertainment model! If there's no title on the cover of "Crash of the Titans" and "Mind Over Mutant," you wouldn't even think that it is Crash himself.

I don't know if i already asked you this or not retro but do you have the other demo disc that included crash bandicoot 2, which also included nightmare creatures, test drive 4, kula world and parrapa the rapper ? I'm looking for it.

I really want to play this game again!!!!!! The best part of it was the jungle stage where you ride a cart and reach the destination and was even guarded.....NICE GAME
