bukowski beat on his girlfriends and wife. they were strong women and fought back. he is no saint. bono is a corporate musician. i don't fucking care. one man wrote with compassion, i value those words. despite his actions. another sings with compassion, i love that sound. bono recites a wonderful poem that i feel captures the emotion of dedication, while facing the unknown. listen to some of the other fakes who have bukowski recites here.

Great reading...and this trashing Bono is just a thing for people who can;t stand it when someone dares to stand out above the crowd. They love you when you're down, but if you get some success, the knives come out.
