@thelahats What's confusing is that the lyrics are a bit different between the different versions. Cheetah Girls say, "Don't wanna be no, no, no one else" but i5, Play and Tata Young say, "Don't wanna depend on no one else."

As for stealing, i5 released this song in 2000, Play in 2002, Cheetah Girls in 2003, and Tata Young in 2005. So who's stealing from whom? No one, actually. They are all doing their own style and interpretation of the song.
