  • I wonder how many people have shot their arms while pulling their weapon from the shoulder holster... and then for that matter... how many have shot their leg or waist while pulling their weapon from their hip holster. Do you keep your weapon cocked in the holster?

  • He means he would give them time to kill him first, and then draw his weapon.

  • @aeroali8425 That's the purpose of Safety.

  • @Iinspirel What about a revolver or a Glock?

  • I prefer the cz 75 sp-01 phantom for CC... half cocked w/double action trigger, decocker versus safety so virtually no chance of accidental discharge unless you intentionally pull the trigger, including decocking. I prefer shoulder holster to anything else because it is imo the most comfy/accessible/safest/concealable in the case of riding motorcycle or sitting in car....thats just me though! I'll never carry a pistol "cocked n locked", nor would I carry a SAO for the lack of trigger travel.

  • @aeroali8425 maybe on safe

  • @aeroali8425 I think you'd be surprised how many people shoot themselves drawing their weapons.

  • Who makes your shoulder holster?

  • My philosophy is that if you shoot yourself, you deserved it. Proper technique negates most if not all accidental discharges when drawing and firing.

  • @aeroali8425 Really? Any experienced concealed carrier has their trigger finger on the side of the trigger guard when drawing the weapon. Carry much? Doubt it.

  • @aeroali8425 many people i know do that, but me personally i prefer a revolver to a semi auto either way, because of that reason, and they dont jam. i really cant see someone shooting themselves in the arm because of this, unless their not doing what their supposed to be doing, keeping there adrinaline in check and using it to there advantage, and not pulling the trigger prematurly. but if they did do any of those, they wouldnt be hanging around me with a loaded gun i can tell ya that.

  • punch with your left hand while drawing your handgun lol, that would get your arm up and hold off an attacker :)
