  • Those porpoises that were caught were already dead. They swim way to fast to be caught in a trawl net that doesn't exceed more than 4 knots per hour. A porpoise can swim faster than most boats running at 12 knots. And for the bycatch part, get real buddy. Depending on what is being trawled, the target species is "Targeted", not just caught by luck. If there's too much bycatch, the season is shut down or that particular area is shut down to trawling. Nice try.

  • very good vid!

  • I know nothing about marine issues but what i do know is fish are tastey and I like eating fish. If I eat fish does that contribute to killing porpoises? Is the animation showing what happens in the sea but realting it to land, I'm little confused not knowing much about the sea and fishing. But I like it has made me think to.

  • Really liked it but not sure what bycatch is? Is it where fishermen go out and catch fish but catch other things like poroises or do they just go out and catch porpoises?

  • This really made me think. What lovely music too.
