Thanx breny. This and your RS NOR Latch taught me how this all works. I was really stumped until then. From this I was able to create a combination lock for an Obsidian safe room I made.

Thanks i was looking for holding open a piston long enough for some lava to flow but not too long

I used this as a mob trap, put a ton of iron doors leading to a mob spawner room and put dispensers with arrows shooting very fast into there when i pressed the plate, making a very efficient mob trap

THANKS alot this works well in smp with the craftbook gates they have to read the rules in a building then press button and go to gate before it closes so awesome!!!

Breny why do you even need the norlatch, why can't you have two separate parallel circuits leading to the door from both directions (not connected except near the plate/swtich/et cetera), and one opens it immediate, and the other is filled with repeaters to act like capacitors to continue power being given to the door for a longer period of time.

why not just make a t flip flop or make a norlatch or even use a switch
