I saw a story about a woman whose daughter died in a car accident & her heart had gone to someone in desperate need of a transplant. The process was anonymous; donor families & recipients rarely meet, but the donor's mom really wanted to meet the recipient so she could listen to her daughter's heartbeat again. It was a very precious moment when they met & the mom got to listen to the recipient's chest to hear her baby's heart again. [...continued]
