http://GRACETODAYBLOG.COM This is a short video I took of David while he was watching something exciting on the computer. The purpose of the video was to show his doctors at Vanderbilt Medical Center how his dystonia acts when he gets excited. They used it in their meeting to determine whether or not to recommend DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) for him. They recommended it. To keep updated on David go to www.davidcampsdiary.blogspot.com Caregivers, parents of special needs children, or anyone in a stressful situation can find inspiration and encouragement on my other website at www.gracetodayblog.com . Thank you!

  • @chikavourdalak Thank you for your kind comments.

  • I have Myclonic Dystonia following a traumatic neck injury/surgery about 3 years ago. I have been watching Davids videos for awhile now because he is my inspiration! I do not have constant onset, only sudden, so in watching him dealing with this I feel solace in knowing that I have the "in-between" time that I am relatively "normal" in that I can get on with most of my living! When I feel sorry for myself, I watch David l and I do not feel so sorry for myself anymore! Thank you for sharing

  • @clitav So glad the videos can be of help and encouragement to you. You should join our yahoo group. Lot's of wonderful people are on. The group is very active and helpful!

  • He only has dystonia when he gets excited ?

  • @xxxAlphaxxx5

No, since Dystonia is a neurological condition he has it all the time. He will always have Dystonia. Sometimes it presents itself worse than at other times. Our hopes are that it will get under better control with Deep Brain Stimulation .

  • @DaynaCamp Thank you for sharing David's story. I can only weep for his discomfort and PRAY that GOd will release him from this awful prison! Please share this YAHOO group address with me. I' a artist, fashion designer/singer-songwriter & DYSTONIA has affected to more than I could EVER imagine. God has graciously given me glimpses into the world of precious David. We take our health for granted UNTIL a catastrophic iINCURABLE malady takes our control away! Then we're grateful for SMALL things.
