Outkast - Funkin Around

Big Boi and Dre present....Outkast, not really an album, just a greatest hits with two "new" songs. Only "true" Outkast fans can listen to lyrics of any song and can tell when it was written. I kno that soungs crazy but you have to respect the craft and actually listen to the words of the songs. In the 94 - 99 era, it wasnt about stupid dances as much as it was great music being made and those were the golden years of the Dungeon Family, we will never get those days back and kids these days will never understand what it was. They just want to kno what the hottest dance is right now---- i really dont care

the funny thing is, listening to his lyrics, he actually wrote this between 97-99. I have been listening to Outkast since 93' and I know that Dre changes his style from time to time and this one shows that. Goodie Mob actually touched on it on Still Standing back in 96'
