@lonnieg5 the reason for what you are saying, if someone buys a collectible guitar they generally want it in as good condition as possible, a relic is made for players who don't want to spend the time breaking in an instrument, they want that well worn feel, like a baseball glove thats broken in perfectly..so it depends on what the purpose of buying the guitar is, for performance or using at home and feeling as comfortable as possible, or for collectibility and increased value down the line..
