  • Sounds like Borat want to come to the US.

  • stay in hungary

  • I came to the U.S. with my parents back in 1994 when I was 8yrs. old from Peru. My parents tried many times to legalize but we were lied to by differents lawyers. In 2003 a lawyer told my dad to sign a voluntary departure which he did we currently remain in the U.S. Now Im 24yrs. married to a U.S. citizen, no criminal background and a college student. How can I fix my papers?

  • the 10 year, may be lifted

  • my fiance just moved to the US 8 months ago.She is a green card holder not a citizen

yet . Can i visit her and how long i can stay in the Us. I understand that she has to be an American citizen in order to file a petition for me when we get married.

What can we do in the mean tiime!!

  • I really appreciate all your advices, they are so helpful

  • @shan593 What does marriage do? Does that slow down the process? I've heard about the adjustment of status. I know someone in this very situation

  • I-601 is about "extreme hardship" and for most people, it's not the case. This guy will probably have to wait until 2015.

  • man you guys are lucky my bf was made to sign the voluntary withdrawal thing and i hardly have any contact with him now...im sure i have to file a I-212 form and if its not approved I wont be able to file for a K-1 visa for him...i'm serously so scared that i wont ever be with him again...If i were you i'd do it i wouldn't wait...get married now
