That looks like the same spiral sicer I just ordered, but the pasta looks thicker than I'd hoped. Is it possible to make it thinner?

Yeah, I used the wrong blade in this video. There is a blade to make it thin.

If You're happy with the flavor of just tomato, then by all means stick to Your recipe, but there are many raw marinara/tomato sauce recipes online and in books. The raw spaghetti is a classic for raw foodists, and it is one of the first that I tried-I used Jennifer Cornbleet's recipe for the sauce. Also, if You let the squash sit mixed with the sauce for, oh, about 30-60 minutes, the squash softens considerably and has the texture of cooked pasta-if that's appealing to You.
