  • My mom said my aunt thinks I'm making up social anxiety for attention. How the hell would she know more about it than my mom who I live with? My mom doesn't understand how I got it even though she had anxiety & depression and my uncle had bipolar disorder. It's like she doesn't want to admit that it may be genetic because she thinks that would mean it's her fault. It's not her fault. You can't choose what genes you get.

  • Yes I agree....Amanda,you are so beautiful.Do you realize how beautiful you are?

Thank you for saying that there is someone out there who will understand us.I can't thank you enough. You are a blessing to other people who suffer from social anxiety.

  • I hope u get to feeling better. Your way better off than me, I dont have a job Ive tried and tried numerous times and EPIC FAIL!! Food luck to you and keep up the good work!

  • yeah..someone asked me in highschool if i was mute because i never talked...

  • Are you on any medication for social anxiety disorder? Mine got so bad I was having anxiety attacks almost 24/7 and had to go on disability from work and so on because of it. I'm on Lexapro and Colonopin, along with using various self-help techniques with my mind and self help programs (one called Holosync by Bill Harris, which you can google)... and the combination of all that and trying to discover more about myself has helped tremendously.
