This unusual rag is one of the tunes on Tom's 2006 album "Rewind": http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/tombrier

It dates from 1919 and was written by Kenneth W. Bradshaw & Joe McGrade.

Here, Tom plays it on a Steinway grand piano at the 2010 Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival.

  • Ron, are you sure that's a Model D...?

    Excellent playing, though!

  • @AurignyATR72 I thought I had read it in a venue description at some point. Honestly I wouldn't be able to tell by sight.

  • MY GOD this is an exciting performance. Thanks for capturing this on video Ron!

And thanks Tom, and Kenneth Bradshaw and Joe McGrade, (whoever they were!) for bringing such fun and dramatic music to life!!!

  • @Keeper1st Verybigrifle, the other person who has videos of this concert describes it as a Model B, which is 6'10'' in length; a model D is 8'11''(a concert grand). Anyway, it doesn't make much difference!

  • Well done :D

  • Cool! I've always wanted to play a grand piano :-)
