beautiful new song by Alice In Chains.

"Black Gives Way to Blue" was written as a tribute to Layne Staley.

I'm very busy lately with the new project and some work, but I"ll try on keep on making videos anyway.

  • After following your music for over two years this is my favorite (although I thoroughly enjoy most of your other songs also). It takes a beautiful song and your interpretation builds to make it a masterpiece. Thank you for your work!

  • i am trying to do this cover by ear for an audition for BSA- Baltimore school for the arts but hearing this version helped me even more so thank you V.K.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All I have to say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU (is that enough Thanks Yous?)!

I have been looking for an instrumental/karaoke version of this for a LONG time, and FINALLY, you have one of the most beautiful versions I have ever heard, and top it off it's an instrumental!

I've been wanting to do a video of me singing to this for youtube, and now I can, with of course your accompaniment, if you don't mind. Thanks again!

  • I can almost hear the piano sing the lyrics

  • I play this when I want to sing this song. Beautiful :)

  • Great cover! It's crazy that Elton John played on that track.

  • perfect song to cover on piano, great choice.

  • played so beautifully

  • With your incredible dynamics and feeling, you should be playing on nothing less than a full size grand piano.

  • If I ever become famous with my music and a reporter ask me who was my inspiration I will say VK without hesitation.
