anyone know how they triggered the samples in these demos? Do they use one of those big midi drum kits or just a drum pad you think?

Is there another way that I can create a layered effect by simply triggering multiple cells (with different instruments) at one time...I guess by linking several cells together? Thanks

i bought battery, i also have strike and superior drummer, battery is not as good, battery drives me mad with it's anomalies. if you like spending hours clicking mouse buttons and keys, get battery, if you want fast drum tracks, strike or, ez drummer. sorry N.I.

@19501960 The Battery is for people who want to have a lot of control to tweak sounds. We actually agree with you that EZ Drummer is better for traditional drums parts but Battery is hard to beat for electronic or experimental musicians.

why use battery 3...... just get ezdrummer or superior drummer.....

@Zordid0 EZ Drummer and Superior Dummer are fantastic drum romplers but they won't allow you to load your own samples, nor do they have the sound shaping capabilities of Battery.

No matter what sound a put in a cell it comes out a piano sound when i click it...do you know why?

@alienbomb You need to route the midi track to Battery. It sounds like you currently have it routed to the GM synth of your soundcard.
