  • Maybe I'm getting old but why cant they make beats like this anymore, I mean seriously whats happening to music!!

  • these are exactly the words my parents told me when i was listening to this kind of music about 25 years ago. just that they talked about bill haley ;-) . time goes by - music changes and everyone loves the music that you hear when you are young and have the best time in your life. that´s the way it is but there is in fact good music today too in my opinion.

  • I think this song was played at Better Days

  • well i think times are different today and the days when you are young are allways the best. for the music i must say the 80´s were the most innovative times i can think of.

listen to my other uploads and you know what i mean.

  • 92 KTU FM supermix with Paco, NYC early 80s in the parks on boxes.

  • @mattylga I know what you mean, there is something organic and real about that kind of dance music, and bill haley is fantastic too, bips and clicks and lack of musical hook is happening a lot now, but you still have artists who touch that organic feel and natural accoustic but still in a modern and contemporary way, check Daft Punk, Phoenix and most recently 'Flooze - On the scene' which sound very similar to that KID tune, it is on youtube as well

  • King Unique have Beats sampled

  • @mattylga Making fresh beats with old school sound is possible!!!

    I'm on it. :)

  • @Pleasuredome05 I totally agree with you, I was a baby in the 80's but I love 80's music and think no generation of music was as innovative especially the music coming out of New York. It's tough finding venues that play this music but when you do, you find people young and old dancing to some damn good music.

  • Fun House 1983, Studio 54, and the best club ever in NYC Xenon
