In the weight loss patient with a previous midline scar or significant transverse skin excess, sometimes an inverted - T type incision is required to adequately perform an abdominoplasty. This is what we call the modified vertical abdominoplasty.

  • i love tht song in the backround whats the name of it

  • omg, how horrific, how could someone go into this as a profession. I guess "money is everything"

  • But I can go for a touch up procedure later on down the road after we see what the complete weight loss results will look like in 6 months to a yr after procedure, it takes up to 4 months for all the swelling to go down, and with diet an excersize one will add to the success results of these procedures. It's the skinny people that shouldn't be having these procedures done. Now I am scared and anxious because I don't know how good a surgeon she will be for me, won't know till I am done procedure.

  • That's the right size patient to have a full tummy tuck... I am only getting a panniculectomy done on friday. I look somewhat similar to the patient above when lying on my back too.. lol my dr is not relocating my belly button so it will be interesting to see how close to this video she comes with what she does to me, patients have ben known to lose as much as 25 lbs. I'm hoping for 14 to 20 lbs. This procedure usually leads to even more weight loss after recovery just from having it!
