(At 3:33-4:05) Kermit for all we know that could have been Michael Jackson calling Fozzie wanting to be booked onto The Muppet Show, since he didn't get his spot, unlike Diana Ross! If that was MJ, you lost your chance for a good singing and dancing star!!! But since we don't know for certain, since Animal disconnected that phone, who knows who or what that was that time?

Nice lady no want Sweetums to hold cue cards?
Well, no!
Nice lady let Sweetums to hold something else?
Sure. You can hold anything you want.
Good that's best offer Sweetums have all week.
Ahh! That happens so often on our show. Our guest stars just get carried away.
Ha ha ha!

@1985Nebraska The Muppet Show came on later on in prime time, like 8 or 9 PM. I wasn't allowed to stay up for it until I was a teenager, so that blows your "that's why kids are violent" out of the water. No, for that, you have to look to Warner Brothers and GI Joe and Transformers for my generation, or Power Rangers and anime for later generations. It's the endless fighting on the daytime shows that you want to blame, leave the Muppets out of it!

@multimumpitz then first season frank oz didn't have the classic fozzie bear voice down YET and was still working on it thanks and i think frank oz seems to fully doing piggy's voice for the muppets (coming out next month cheap plug i know) but maybe also fozzie this one so far looks like well jim himself would of pulled it off
This comment has received too many negative votes show
So this show teaches us that it's okay for men to hit women like that slapstick comedy skit "Goody Goody" at 02;22.
This show has great slapstick comedy skits, and I think this show is one reason that kids are violent in the first place. LOL!
But The Muppet Show is a great kids show and I'd like them to bring back the reruns and air them on either TV Land, RTV (Retro TV), Ion Channel, ABC Family, or whatever other channel(s) that would possibly be willing to air its reruns, here in the U.S.A.

Actually, the Muppet Show was never ment to be a kid's show. It was made for all ages and especially for adults.
